The British-owned Hotel is an oasis of peace and tranquillity, nestling in 2.5 hectares of lawns and farmland, with open views to the hills beyond.

Guests often comment on how cool the rooms feel, even on very hot days: the secret is, underneath the plaster there are adobe blocks rather than conventional brick. A dedicated staff attends to your every need, and maintains the meticulous appearance, and visitors enjoy well-appointed rooms and luxury bathrooms.

Without leaving the hotel grounds, there is a chance to see a mini-sample of the economy of the region: coffee, pasture, fruit, and forest trees. Local sources of income include the cultivation of coffee and fruits, cattle grazing and apiculture.

Namballe is situated at 700 metres, with a very pleasant sub-tropical climate and a daytime temperature range of 20 to 35 degrees Celsius year round. The main rainy season is February to June, though showers may occur at any time of year.
